MSWT initially launched its laboratory diagnostic services in collaboration with Sterling Accuris Laboratories in 2018, aiming to provide high-quality diagnostic support to its patients. However, in 2021, the MSW Trust, which oversees the operations of Shifa Hospital, made a strategic decision to take over the laboratory services from Sterling Accuris. This move was part of a broader initiative to enhance the hospital’s capabilities and offer more integrated, personalized services. As a result, the MSW Trust established its own in-house laboratory, Labcity Diagnostic Services.

Labcity Diagnostic Services was launched with state-of-the-art equipment and a dedicated team of professionals, including a full-time pathology doctor. This in-house facility not only ensures quicker turnaround times for test results but also provides more accurate and reliable diagnostics, tailored to the specific needs of Shifa Hospital’s patients. The establishment of Labcity Diagnostic Services marks a significant milestone in the hospital’s journey towards self-reliance and excellence in patient care, reflecting its commitment to maintaining the highest standards in healthcare delivery.
