Our hospital is planning exciting changes to improve care for everyone. We will add new technologies, build more comfortable spaces, and bring in more skilled doctors and nurses. These updates will help us provide faster, better, and more personalized care to all our patients.
New Campus Based Wellness Center:
With an increase in patient flow, the current premises of the hospital are struggling to manage clinical services smoothly. The average daily OPD has risen from 50 to almost 250 patients. Moreover, Shifa Hospital’s current building lacks sufficient indoor bed capacity, parking space, and room for further development. It also falls short of meeting standards for emergency care, patient safety, and government accreditation standards. Therefore, Shifa Hospital requires larger premises with a comprehensive clinical approach.
Addition of Histopathology and Microbiology Departments:
Enhance pathology services by adding histopathology and microbiology departments to provide comprehensive diagnostic capabilities.
Full-fledged Medical Oncology Services:
Expand oncology services to provide comprehensive cancer care, including diagnostics, treatment, and supportive care for patients.
Physiotherapy Center:
Establish a dedicated physiotherapy center to provide rehabilitation services and improve the quality of life for patients recovering from injuries or surgeries.
Naturopathy/Unani Center:
Introduce alternative medicine services such as naturopathy and Unani to offer a wider range of treatment options to patients.
Skill India Initiative for Medical Services:
Implement Skill India programs tailored to medical services, providing training and skill development opportunities for healthcare professionals.
Rural Health Centres / Satellite Centres:
Establish rural health centers to bring healthcare services closer to underserved communities in remote areas.
New Social Service Wing of the Trust:
Launch a dedicated social service wing to address various social issues, including education, poverty alleviation, and community development, alongside healthcare initiatives.
