This medical store operates with high-quality standards considering the importance of life-saving drugs to be made available at the most reasonable rates. We intend to initiate and promote quality generic medicines after quality checking standards and prompt and easy availability.
USP of Our Medical Store
The Medical Council of India, in an amendment to the Code of Conduct for Doctors in October 2016, has recommended that every physician should prescribe drugs with generic names legibly, and they shall ensure that there is a rational prescription which promotes the use of generic drugs. In the future, the Government of India may bring a legal framework under which doctors will have to prescribe generic medicines to patients. The critical issues that affect the quality of generic drugs are purity, potency, stability, and drug release, and these should be controlled within an appropriate limit, range, or distribution to ensure the desired drug quality. Shifa Medical Stores gradually introduces generic medicine by following strict quality norms. For this, we have tie-ups with drug testing laboratories, where we send our newly purchased quality generic medicine for testing to ensure it meets the standard. Upon receiving positive reports from the licensed laboratories, we promote those drugs to be used at our premises.
Future Plans for Medical Stores
We plan to have these types of medical stores with basic laboratory collection centers in nearby villages, offering home delivery services. This will ensure the availability of medicines and routine health checkups at a reasonable cost, while also generating employment at the local level.
Online Deliveries of Medicines
We are planning to launch our online medicine portal shortly, where we will be selling only quality generic medicines at highly subsidized rates. Our logistics will be planned to ensure the delivery of medicines in the minimum possible time.
